Ruby Beneteau
Associate Pastor/ Lighthouse Home Mission Director
Pastor Beneteau is the minister in charge of Lighthouse Home Missions, our clothing & feeding program. Her compassion for the poor, and her zeal for the lost have made her a vessel that God uses to show how much He loves us.
When she came to Full Gospel Temple and began establishing the Lighthouse Home Missions, it had humble beginnings in her basement. Growing with the ministry that God had called her to, she has had to take a stand for righteousness in the community, in city hall and even in some churches.
Pastor Beneteau is married with three grown children and her family supports her completely in home and ministry life.

Scott O'Leary
Pastor over: Media, Men's Care Groups, Praise & Worship, Phone Ministry & Altar Workers
I was saved in 1998 in an apartment by myself in Kalamazoo Mi. I was spending time reading the Word of God and I asked him to make himself real to me.
About a month after I had gotten saved we were having a Bible study and I saw in my minds eye me preaching in a church and I could sense that that was what I am called to do.I came to FGT in 1998 and working third shift at the time , I started picking up bread at a few grocery stores to get involved, I also started getting my feet wet in the Ministry side of things, so for the next 14 years I started to minister at Oakdale Recovery Center, Walter Reuther & several Retirement Homes. I also started playing guitar on the Praise and Worship team in 2003.
My ministry experience in different places has equipped me to meet the many needs of people.
It has built great discipline in me, realizing that all people need the Word of God.
The sermon needs to touch their hearts and our time together should be an event where God moves into their lives allowing them to depart closer to God.
God has given me the availability to be involved in:
Media, Men's Care Groups, Praise and Worship, Phone Ministry, and Altar Workers.
In the future I would like to be in full time ministry as a pastor/preacher/teacher & caring for the flock of God.

Exterior Maintenance
By the grace of God, HE harvested my soul in April 1987 in a crusade organized by Reinhard Bonnkie, a German Preacher in the City of Aba, Nigeria. My family and I relocated to the US in Oct 1996, and have been attending FGT since then. I've been a Sunday School teacher, a Royal Ranger Commander, I'm involved in the cleaning ministry, I'm an usher, a Chaplain. And recently I've been called to serve as a Deacon in charge of Exterior Maintenance.

Interior Maintenance
I came to Full Gospel Temple in 1996 and began following Jesus when I was 25. After a couple years of instruction, our Father chose to use me in various children's ministries. Today I work in Kingdom Kids Church with my wife Margie, my right hand man Nathan Beneteau, my daughter Pamela, and Michelle and Katie
Laurie Shakarian
Women's Ministry Director
I first became a believer when I was 15. When I married at 17, in 1974, I put my husband on the throne where God belonged. It took me 5 long years until I realized that God was calling me to put Him back in the right place in my life as Savior and Lord.
I first came to FGT on Easter morning in 1989; Mike and I were dating, and he had invited me. The church I was attending at that time was not spirit-filled and I was. It was such a blessing to not have to quiet the spirit who is living in me. I knew I was home! May 2010 I was called by God to be the Director of the Women's Ministry.

Susan Bauer
Church Treasurer
Being raised in a Catholic home, I am thankful for my Catholic roots which gave me a love and respect for God and a desire to know Him. In 1981 at the age of 21 I began my journey at Full Gospel Temple. The Lord has been gracious allowing me to serve in a variety of ministries over the years: Church Secretary, Admin Asst in the C.E Dept and the Royal Ranger Program - Admin Asst for WCA and Admin Asst. in the Singles and Youth Ministries. For the past 26 years I have enjoyed the great honor and privilege of serving our congregation as the Church Treasurer. Currently I am on the Church Board and serve on the WM Board - I assist as needed with Mrs. Enersen as an Admin Asst. at Westland Christian Academy and I assist my husband in the Temple Keepers Ministry. The Lord has been FAITHFUL to me - giving me grace and guiding me as I continue my journey with him. He has given me the desires of my heart in blessing me with a beautiful family and circle of extended family and friends. He has allowed me to dwell in his house and serve His people. I am one blessed woman!
David Bauer
Interior Cleaning
In 1984 the Lord rescued me from a life of pain and self-destruction. The next couple of years were spent looking for a church home. Through a friend I came to Full Gospel Temple and knew this is where God wanted me to be. Serving as a driver in the Lighthouse Ministry, picking up milk was a blessing. In the past I have also served as an Usher. Twenty-Eight years ago I was appointed to serve on The Deacon Board to fill a vacated position. The following year the congregation elected me to continue in this ministry and have served in this position, being elected for each term. My portfolio is The Temple Keepers Ministry. I have the privilege of working with the most wonderful volunteers who are dedicated to cleaning the entire church. Our motto is "Hands to Serve and Hearts to God" - and everyone's commitment is a reflection of those words. I am thankful for the privilege of serving the body of Christ here at Full Gospel Temple. Through my relationship with Jesus my life has purpose.
Stanley Beneteau
Co-Founder Lighthouse Home Mission
I came to FGT in 1986 and was almost immediately drawn into ministry
as a character in one of the plays. I have since served in ministry in one
form or the other ever since. I was raised in a Catholic household growing up,
so the Pentecostal church was quite different to me, I had never even heard of
speaking in tongues or baptism of the Holy Spirit. But God in all his wisdom chose
to show me how real he was in a very intimate way. (Ask me about it and I
will be happy to share my story).
I have been blessed with a wife of over 50 years who is also the
Senior Associate Pastor of FGT. Many years ago, God opened our house
to the needy and homeless in the area, most of who were youth from broken
homes or homeless altogether. That is where the Lighthouse got its start,
we saw a need and stepped up to fill it. It grew so big that we asked
the pastor if there was a place at the church to accommodate it,
they gave us a small room for a pantry and since then it has
grown into the biggest ministry of the church. I stepped up to become
Deacon of security and was entrusted with the safety of the
congregation. Come and meet me and see if we can find
you a place in ministry for this great church.
