The following are Outreach & Discipleship ministries FGT is actively involved in:
* Philip Ogbuaku has been faithfully ministering at Optalis Health & Rehab in canton. Attendance varies from 15-20 weekly. They look forward to the Sunday service to praise God with their visiting friends & family members. They are able to visit people in their rooms, provide counseling for families who lost a love one, and are even joined by facility workers & family members during the services.
* Rev. Mongo does hospital visitations. He also serves as the Community Outreach Liaison for FGT, & serves as Rev. Kokenos' assistant at NCIC. He assisted at the Annual Resource Fair (Trunk & Treat) He made sure fliers from FGT's many ministries were distributed. He also is the 'go to' resource for our veterans.
* FGT has 2 outreach areas for our Substance Abuse ministry. Weekly meetings of New Creations in Christ, and the weekly care ministry. The attendance varies from 2-10 weekly. The largest numbers being online viewing. A salvation message is always given at the end of every meeting. NCIC joined with YOMO for a neighborhood outreach. Lots of promo was done. We had a few neighborhood people wander through. Rev. Kokenos is the minister over NCIC.
* FGT provided stamped tracts for your use w/our address & phone number. Tracts are an easy way to share the Word of God with the lost. FGT provides them for free of charge, & hope you avail yourselves of this ministry tool. The tract rack is in the vestibule.
* In 2024 YOMO, our 50+ group, continued to meet monthly. If you are 50 or your spouse is, we would like to invite you to join us. We always hear a good word, have awesome fellowship, prayer, & delicious food. We have also started a YOMO Group page on FGT's FB site. Join the fb group for up-to-date information, to ask questions, share a prayer request or testimony, or just something awesome God has shown you.
* This past year, I continued with the monthly discipleship group for Veterans. We currently have approximately 10 men that attend regularly. Also, 2x a year I take a group of 10 or so men up north, for a foray. Where God shows us spiritual applications from our natural surroundings. Every time we've gone, God has met us in a powerful way, & if you ask each person that went, their lives are changed as a result of this times with God & each other.
* List of miscellaneous support/outreach costs: $1,000 Life Challenge, $422.00 TV for FaHoLo, $1,000 Lighthouse, $500 ministry to Muslims, The Joint community outreach with NCIC (provided food & snacks), $200 for FFN candy.
In closing, I would like to thank the many men & women involved in the Outreach ministries of FGT, without all of us working together, we would be unable to reach our Jerusalem.
Respectfully Yours
